WOW ROUTE - MIRAMAR IN MALLORCAN POETRY From Ramon Llull to the Mallorcan School passing through Joan Alcover – Date: October 24, 2026 – Guide: Tomàs Vibot – Schedule: from 10 am to 2 pm We will feel the heartbeat of a history written in words and of a landscape like no other in the entire Mediterranean. The shore of Miramar is a scenic place full of literary echoes; we will talk about the poetic heritage of the Mallorcan school, from where the spirituality of the gaze of authors such as Ramon Llull, Archduke Ludwig Salvador of Austria, Jacint Verdaguer, Joan Alcover, Santiago Rusiñol, and many others can be felt, who, over the centuries, have written at the foot of the mountain, with the vast sea ahead and the enigmatic landmark of La Foradada. We will read ‘The Vulture of Miramar’ and ‘Mallorca and Ramon Llull,’ two Lullian poems by Joan Alcover, among many other authors.
