The Great Magic

At a luxurious hotel frequented by high society, the magician Otto arrives with his wife to perform his illusion show. A false reputation precedes him; he has repeatedly demonstrated his talent, capable of turning a man into an animal, making him behave as such in front of the audience, among many other feats. At least, that’s what his supposed victims claim—actually, paid witnesses. This time, a highly impactful act is expected: making the wife of a jealous millionaire disappear before his very eyes. The act, however, is far from innocent; it is a business deal between her lover and Otto, whose precarious financial situation and lack of scruples lead him to an agreement that will end very badly. When the woman disappears for more than the agreed fifteen minutes, the magician offers the impatient husband a solution that traps the man in a dilemma, living a perpetual illusion he dares not escape. The line between reality and fiction.
