Open Day: Guided Tour of Sector G of the Site
On September 6, 2026, Santanyí will host an open day dedicated to Sector G of the Talayotic site. The event offers a unique opportunity to see firsthand the results of the latest fieldwork campaign and the most recent scientific contributions about this settlement, considered one of the most significant archaeological heritage sites in the area.
The guided tour will be led by Damià Ramis, director of the research project, who will conduct the tour and explain the conclusions reached during the excavation. Attendees will be able to get close to the archaeological interventions, understand the excavation process, and appreciate the new findings documented in this phase of the study.
Sector G is part of the Talayotic settlement complex of Santanyí, a site of great interest for interpreting the prehistoric and protohistoric past of the region. This event allows visitors to contextualize the discoveries and appreciate the extent of the archaeological heritage preserved by the municipality, as well as the scientific methodology applied in the project.
