What has happened to that Mallorca that seemed like a paradise? And what future do we want for our island? The documentary revisits conversations with Mallorcan artists and creators to reflect on the transformation of Mallorca, its identity, the territory, tourism, and overcrowding.
The film brings together the voices of Miquel Barceló, Carme Riera, Agustí Villaronga, Biel Mesquida, Susy Gómez, Toni Catany, Tòfol Serra, Rafa Cortés, Joan Morey, Rafel Duran, and Pep Tosar, among others.
The documentary also includes new voices from Mallorcan culture, such as Júlia Colom, Xanguito, Laura Gost, Joan Aguiló, Jaume Carrió, and Clara Ingold, establishing a dialogue between different generations and perspectives on the island.
A cinematic proposal that invites us to look at Mallorca with a critical spirit and to ask ourselves a question that affects us all: What Mallorca do we want for the future?
