On September 2, 2026, Santanyí will host a new session of the literary cycle dedicated to the poet Susanna Rafart. The event will take place at Casa Blai Bonet, Poetry Center, and offers a journey through the author's poetic career to discover where her verses come from. Admission is free and the activity is organized by Casa Blai Bonet itself.
A Recognized Career
Susanna Rafart became known to the general public with the Carles Riba Prize in 2001 for her book Pozo de hielo. Since then, she has consolidated a body of work that has received various recognitions and is presented in this cycle as an object of analysis and listening. Among her later volumes are Retrato en blanco and Bayas, the latter awarded the Cavall Verd Poetry Prize in 2005.
The Trilogy and Notable Awards
The author continued to deepen her voice in the trilogy formed by El pájaro en la ceniza (2010), La mano interior (2011), and La luz constante, a work that won the Rosa Leveroni Prize in 2012. These books trace a thread in her poetic production that the cycle aims to explore to understand the motivations, images, and l
