Can Vivot hosts the fourth session of Where Cinema and History Meet, a series that showcases films partially shot at Can Vivot and screens them in the very space where they were filmed. The session is dedicated to Bearn or The Doll Room (1983), directed by Jaime Chávarri and starring Fernando Rey, Amparo Soler Leal, Imanol Arias, and Ángela Molina. The adaptation of Llorenç Villalonga's novel takes us to Mallorca in 1865 and reconstructs the story of the Bearn family, marked by memory and social transformation. A discussion with Jaime Chávarri, the film’s director, about the cinematic adaptation and its connection to Mallorca and the literary work. Documentary and photographic exhibition.
