L'arquitecte

The company Produccions de Ferro presents this fiction thriller built around the life and thoughts of Josep Ferragut Pou and Gabriel Alomar Esteve, key architects in the urban and architectural transformation of Palma during the second half of the 20th century, amid the island’s tourism and economic boom. Sergeant Bauçà is tasked with investigating the violent death of a prestigious architect, Josep Ferragut, renowned for the modernity of his designs. In the hours before his death, Ferragut receives a visit at his office from his former partner and now head of urban reforms, Gabriel Alomar. The two begin a conversation that will reveal, on one hand, concerns about the island’s future in a world undergoing revolution; and on the other, the professional and personal secrets that both architects know about each other.
