The Amateurs Company presents Strawberry Frappuccino

Sara and Nil meet on Instagram. This anonymity allows them to share things they might not dare to say in person. When Sara discovers that Nil is considering suicide, she decides to break the anonymity that social networks offer and meet in person. To talk, to touch... to offer a real hand to help him through this difficult but surmountable moment in his life. The aim of this show is to raise awareness about the assaults that occur in the school environment. To make audible a debate that brings together victims, aggressors, and witnesses with the goal of improving understanding of a taboo subject that claims many victims among our youth. The play achieves a revealing and profound snapshot of the current state of youth: identity crises, lack of contact, physicality, trust, horizon, and many more challenges that we must face, both young and adults, socially, economically, climatically... in this complex 21st century.

Proposal selected by the Audaces Circuit, which has been seen in the Canary Islands, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Valencia, Granada, Valladolid, and Andorra on the 24th/25th.
