2026 · 50 years since the death of folklorist Rafel Ginard • Date: October 11 • Start time: 9:30am • Meeting point: Colònia de Sant Pere • Guided by Joan Carles Palos in collaboration with Joana Aina Ginard "Butlera" Both in his prose work and his little-known poetic work, Rafel Ginard is a true master of the landscape. The Colònia d'Artà, dedicated to Saint Peter, has a revived tradition as a land of good wines that tells us about a landscape shaped by human hands. Between Colònia de Sant Pere and the cove of s’Aigua Dolça, we will walk through a landscape that seems made of memory, sea, and words. Following the always inspiring footprint of Rafel Ginard i Bauçà, whose 50th death anniversary we commemorate this year. We will discover a more intimate and evocative Artà, drawn with the attentive gaze of a man who knew how to turn the small details of life and the territory into literature. A route to walk, read, and let the landscape tell us, once again, its stories. * We will read From How I Was a Child, Artan Sketches, and The Popular Songbook of Mallorca by Rafel Ginard. Route in collaboration with TardOral, the oral traditions cycle of the Mallorca Literary Foundation.
