From that little girl who dreamed of singing and found in music a refuge and a way to express herself beyond words, Samara is today one of the most promising talents in contemporary jazz. With five Grammy Awards and a career on the rise, she has established herself as one of the great voices of jazz today.

Born in the Bronx and raised in a gospel-influenced musical environment, she transitioned to jazz during her studies and achieved international recognition after winning the 2019 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Since then, her career has flourished, solidifying her impact beyond the jazz scene. In her latest album, Portrait, she demonstrates an artistic maturity capable of blending tradition and contemporary sounds with her own unique sensibility.

Their performance on July 25th at the Trui Teatre comes as part of a commemoration that highlights one of Palma's most important festivals, the Palma Jazz Festival.
