From the mysterious tension of the first movement to the explosive joy of the famous "Ode to Joy" in the choral finale, the Ninth unfolds a musical journey of extraordinary intensity. Here, Beethoven breaks the boundaries of the classical symphony by incorporating, for the first time in the genre's history, solo voices and choir in the final movement, set to Friedrich Schiller's poem Ode to Joy. The result is a universal proclamation of unity among peoples and faith in humanity.
