Rels i Records is a project for voice and piano that creates a journey between memory, tradition, and contemporary creation. Through repertoires in Catalan, Italian, and Spanish, the program connects Mediterranean art song, 20th-century music, and current works. The guiding thread of the project is Camí Florit, an original work by Llorenç Prats based on texts by Josep Maria Llompart, written especially for the project. Performed by soprano Laura de la Fuente and pianist and composer Llorenç Prats, Rels i Records offers an intimate listening experience built from the relationship between voice and piano. Program notes The repertoire combines Mediterranean art song, contemporary creation, and memory. Flors d’Escardot by Carme Karr is a cycle practically absent from current stages and, as far as we know, has not been commercially recorded until now.
