Pérgamo Ensemble: “The art of playing”
Event Information
29th Palma Early Music Festival
The history of music is full of great musicians who were also great teachers and who, therefore, instilled a series of values in their students that led to the development and evolution of new styles. The aim of the program "The art of playing" created by Pérgamo Ensemble is to highlight those teachers who left us the great legacy of the art of interpretation.
Awarded the Segell FestClásica 2025 prize and the Grand Jury Prize at the 8th Gijón Early Music Competition in 2019, Pérgamo Ensemble began offering their first concerts in 2016. Since then, they have performed concerts across Spain and Europe, including the "Sicut Sagittae" cycle in Naples, "Nights in the Gardens of the Royal Alcázar" in Seville, the Torroella de Montgrí Festival, the "Suena la Cúpula" cycle at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés, the "Marcos Históricos" cycle at the Santander International Festival, the concert series at the Greco Museum in Toledo, the concert season at CaixaForum Barcelona, the Madrid International Festival of Sacred Art (FIAS), the Albacete Baroque Music Festival (FEMUBA), and the Zelenka Festival in Prague.
