Maggie Cullen has become the essential reference for a new generation of artists who approach traditional repertoire with their own perspective. The artist's repertoire maps out a musical journey through fundamental works and authors of Argentine and Latin American culture, as well as her own compositions. She won the Gardel Award for Best Folklore Album for her first album, Canciones del viento, and is now presenting her second CD, Décimas, produced by Popi Spatocco and featuring collaborations with Kevin Johansen and Raly Barrionuevo, among others. In this new work, Cullen deepens her role as a composer, as well as revisiting some of the authors who influenced her as an artist.
