The patron saint festivities of Valldemossa , in honor of Saint Catalina Tomàs (Valldemossa, 1531 - Palma, 1574), are celebrated on July 28 and are one of the most important and well-attended celebrations on the island.The patron saint's festivals of Valldemossa or the Beata festivals are celebrated in memory of Saint Catalina Tomàs, who was born in this municipality. The most important day is July 28 , the patron saint's festival, when the so-called procession of the relic and the triumphal chariot procession are held, led by the beateta , the heiress and the ladies of honor accompanied by the authorities and numerous people in traditional peasant clothing.

The Sunset Market is the most anticipated summer market in Mallorca. The 11th edition of this traditional event will kick off on 9th July and take place every Wednesday and Thursday until 7th August, from 18:00 to 00:00. A unique plan to enjoy the sun, the beach, stunning sunsets, and strolls by the sea, all in an atmosphere of pure Mediterranean style. Visitors can explore over twenty stalls offering design, fashion, accessories, and home décor, as well as enjoy live music and children’s activities, all set in the exclusive environment of Puerto Portals.

This is one of the largest and most popular markets in Mallorca. Here, you will find hundreds of stalls offering a diverse range of food products, handmade crafts, textiles, and footwear.

The circuit season began in April with the Palmavela Sailing Week, continued in Saint-Tropez (France), and now arrives at Puerto Portals from 18th to 23rd August for the Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week 2025. The competition will culminate in Porto Cervo (Italy) at the end of September. Puerto Portals, a fixed venue on the calendar since 2015, is ready to once again welcome these impressive monohulls.

Puerto Portals celebrates the tenth edition of Sankt Martin, a traditional European festival that brings together children and families to enjoy a magical evening under the stars and lantern light. On 15th November, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we are once again celebrating Sankt Martin with a very special purpose: raising funds for Fundación Rana, a non-profit organisation in the Balearic Islands dedicated to preventing child abuse and sexual maltreatment. How does it work? Register the participating child (from 4 years old). On the event day, collect your game card at the information booth. Complete the activity circuit: lantern-making workshop, cookie workshop, the Sankt Martin story, and the Sankt Martin walk. Return the game card to the information booth. Puerto Portals will donate the registration fee + €3 for each completed mission to Fundación Rana. As night falls, Sankt Martin appears on horseback, and the youngest children of the harbour begin their search for him through the marina’s streets, lighting up the darkness with their lanterns. The event ends with a delicious hot chocolate and cookies. We look forward to welcoming you for an evening full of magic and solidarity!

The 9th edition of the Dragon Winter Series is held in Puerto Portals during the winter months. A regatta circuit in which top national and international sailors compete within the framework of a classic sailing regatta, to experience the tradition of the sea up close with the Dragon class monotype boats. Puerto Portals has become the port with the largest fleet of Dragons in Spain and a benchmark on the international circuit. The Dragon is a sailing boat designed by Johan Anker in 1929. It was an Olympic class from 1948 to 1972. The class maintains around 1500 active boats in more than 26 countries, with Germany leading the way with the largest number of boats.

Over forty wooden stalls, decorated with garlands of lights and fir trees, will offer a wide range of quality products to fill your Christmas with joy: decorations, accessories, wooden toys, and many unique details. Additionally, there will be a rich gastronomic offering. The market comes with an extensive programme of activities for the whole family, including a skating rink!
