Vines and Roots with Terrae

Autumn is harvest time and a busy season in the wineries, the last energetic breaths of the land before the winter retreat. Vinyes i Arrels is a proposal that brings us closer to a winery in Mallorca to discover projects, spaces, and wine-making processes, get to know the cultivated varieties, and enjoy a tasting accompanied by an intimate, small-scale concert. Terrae, the duo formed by Andreu Peral and Genís Bagés, starts from the traditional root. A direct song from their land, Terres de l’Ebre, in a proposal that combines past and present, where synthesizers, voice effects, loops, and samplers dialogue with the most primitive sounds: voice and percussion. Their first album, “NOSTRE GRA” (Segell Microscopi, 2025), reflects the living imprint of a territory: its speech, its voice, and its customs. A declaration of dignity against oblivion and centralism that often belittles the periphery. This work raises a wild and at the same time poetic cry, a song to the land and its people, a drive that moves forward firmly and inspires a clear horizon: our fate, our grain.
